Ark Global New Zealand

Michael Quinn's first visit to New Zealand was in 1983 when he visted as the maitre chef de cuisine of The Ritz. Michael was given the great honour of a traditional Maori welcome and challenge.

Ark Global New Zealand was launched at The Crowne Plaza Hotel, Christchurch in December 2005. Executive chef Tony Smith produced a magnificent dinner which raised 10,000 dollars for the Salvation Army.

In March 2006 Michael returned to New Zealand and gave his first college talk at Christchurch polytechnic and then toured the country with Noel Crawford of Aromatics (aromatics.co.nz).
